Kay Nguyen Holtz’s passion is in helping women transform their appearance, look their best, build confidence in themselves and mentor her students and associates in the beauty industry. Kay has aggressively traveled the world to be educated and mentored by the leading pioneers and innovators of the beauty industry, specifically the Permanent Make Up segment.  Kay has been trained and certified by international and iconic organizations including:  AcademyS, PhiLashes, and New Look Laser College, Beauty Angel, Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and the Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) organization.  Kay has been highly active in many key industry conventions and she is also an active member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP). Kay is also one of only a handful of certified Master Trainers for Academy S by Sviatoslav and Minnesota Brow Lash & MedSpa Academy.  Kay has traveled across the world conducting trainings to teach her leading-edge fashion techniques and skills.

Kay Nguyen Holtz graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor-of- science degree in electrical engineering and is a Master Electrician.  Kay is a Minnesota Board of Cosmetology licensed instructor.  Kay’s ability to strive for new ideas and adventures led her to the decision to become an entrepreneur in the beauty industry. 

Over the past 20 years of being in the beauty industry, Kay’s passion is focused on mentoring and guiding her associates and students not only in terms of their skill sets but also in becoming business savvy. Kay has opened two large, upscaled day spa salons in Excelsior and Wayzata, Minnesota.  Kay is also the founder and CEO of Minnesota Brow Lash Studio & Academy, located at 5500 Lincoln Drive, Suite 120 in Edina, Minnesota 55436.  Minnesota Brow Lash Studio & Academy is licensed as a private school with the state of Minnesota Board of Higher Education as well as licensed under the Minnesota Board of Cosmetology.  This highly upscaled facility has state of the art equipment (FDA approved) and leading- edge quality products and materials available in the industry.  Minnesota Brow Lash & Medspa Academy is a ‘one stop shop’ beauty career and medical spa school, meaning there are many choices of educational programs to choose from including: permanent makeup, microblading (lips, brows, liners), cosmetic treatments, medical grade cosmetic treatments, and advance esthetics.
